About Us

Welcome to HiJinx Boxers located in sunny, warm Fallbrook, California.  We breed and show quality, health-tested Boxers, conforming to the American Boxer Club Code of Ethics. We have four children between us; Amy, David, Alexandra and Danny.  We are the proud grandparents of 10 grandchildren.  Our Boxers have filled the gap in our lives of having our children grown and living their own lives. 

I had my first Boxer when I was 11 years old and have been hooked since then.  My husband and I purchased our first Boxer together in 1990 when we lived in Chattanooga, TN.  This began our true love for this breed.

After moving back to California in 1996, we lost our two Boxers who had come with us from Tennessee due to old age and cancer.  In 2003, we decided to try our luck in the conformation ring.    What a whirlwind experience this has been!  Many, many miles have been traveled, many baths, a whole load of whisker trimming and nail trimming!  Our dogs are spoiled princes and princesses and we wouldn’t have it any other way!  Our first two show prospects were both a success; one an AKC Champion (Ch. Kenon’s I Believe in Magic), the other a CKC Champion (Can. Ch. Kenon’s Hocus Pocus).

Win or lose, we love every show we attend and would never give up (although at times it was tempting).  So much to learn and continual new experiences have given us so much respect for this fun-loving and animated breed.  They are intelligent, beautiful to watch, gentle with children and our constant protectors.

We will live the rest of our lives with Boxers in our household as members of our family. Our breedings will be an occasional event at the present, but who knows what the future will bring. We are proud members of the American Boxer Club, Midwest Boxer Club, and Boxer Club of San Diego County
